Drive Lady, the 100% female carpooling app

Drive Lady is an application created by Margaux HUTYRA (class of 2023) and Camille COTTARD, designed to meet a real need: to enable women to move around more serenely.

As students, many of us feel insecure on public transport. Drive Lady offers a concrete, reassuring and friendly solution, by bringing together female drivers and passengers in a trusted community. The aim is simple: to promote mobility while reducing travel-related anxiety, in a spirit of female solidarity.

This initiative can be particularly useful for EM Normandie students, especially for their events and outings, but also for their return to their home department. It can also be of benefit to other women wishing to feel more secure.

In concrete terms, Drive Lady offers three types of journey:

1) classic carpooling

2) evening carpooling

3) carpooling for events

The application (web app) will be available on July 1.
