The EM Normandie Foundation supports academic excellence
On October 5, World Teachers' Day, the EM Normandie Foundation reaffirms its commitment to academic excellence.
By encouraging the creativity of teacher-researchers and supporting the development of Research Chairs, the Foundation contributes to reinforcing the academic influence of EM Normandie and enhancing the value of the degree for the entire alumni community.
Since 2019, 17 teacher-researchers have received awards and over €38,000 has been raised through the Research Award and the Teaching Innovation Award.
These awards recognize both internationally recognized research and innovative teaching practices that transform the student experience.
The 2024 winners:
- Moacir Godinho Filho (Research Award 2024): Professor of Supply Chain Management on the Le Havre campus, honored for his article "Companies' Responsiveness in Facing Supply Chain Breakdowns: The Role of Lean Manufacturing", published in IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management.
His work focuses on the impact of crises on supply chains and their resilience in the face of major disruptions.
- Aneta Hamza-Orlinska (Teaching Innovation Award 2024): assistant professor in Human Resources Management on the Dublin campus, awarded for her Agile Management course, combining theory, role-playing and ideation sessions.
Thanks to concrete partnerships, such as with Smartbox, her students gain direct experience of agile methods (Scrum) and develop creativity, adaptability and employability.
In addition to these prizes, the Foundation also supports EM Normandie's Research Chairs, which are veritable centers of expertise on strategic themes (sustainable transition, supply chain, entrepreneurship, artificial intelligence, etc.) that feed directly into the school's teaching.
